32 Weeks!! Happy New Year! Dec. 29 - Jan. 4th
And in this corner...we have Debb weighing in at 153 lbs!
Week 33: Jan. 5-11th
Jan. 6th--Jogged 1.2 miles on treadmill...surprised myself!
Dr. appointment on the 6th--I'm now weighing 155 lbs (gained 24 lbs...), belly measures about 31 cm, heartbeat is between 130-135, and the baby was breached at the time--laying sideways. His butt was all the way on the right side and head on the other. All measurements indicate that all is good in the hood! Next appointment is January 31st @ 4.
Jan. 9th--Thanks for the amazing shower Sharon and Carrie!! It was so great to be surrounded by friends from St. Pat's!
34 Weeks!! Jan. 12-18th
Week 35 Jan. 19-25:
Jan 19th: I think the baby "dropped" today?? I was out getting coffee (decaf that is), and I felt "pinches" on the lower left side of my belly. Then woke up at around 1:45 AM and felt some pressure all in the lower part of the belly along with a little pinching in the same area as earlier today. I especially feel more pressure all in the lower belly when I'm walking. To all Moms--did you feel your baby drop? What did it feel like for you?

36 Weeks Jan 26-Feb. 1st
Friday the 28th: 158 lbs! Oh my!! Was at the gym today and I jogged 1.25 miles on treadmill and although I surprised myself, I think this may be the last time I try it. Ever since I think I started the dropping process, there might be just a bit too much pressure on the bottom belly and pelvis to be jogging...oh well, it was a nice "run" (cheesy, I know!)
Monday the 31st: appointment with Dr. D @ 4 p.m. and will give you the update later on tonight...swab test today to check for any infections that can pass on to the baby, ewhhhhh...better go make sure it's kosher down there for my doc to see! LOL I wonder if the baby is still breeched (sideways)??
37 Weeks! Feb. 2 - 8
Dr. confirmed that baby did drop! He is now head down and ready to go!
Week 38 Feb 9-15
Dr.'s appointment Thursday the 10th. Am I dilated at all? How engaged is he?
15th: He's engaged and the cervix thinned out a little, but the cervix is still completely closed. Next appointment is Thursday 17th. I have a feeling that I will be past my due date...I think baby (and I) are a little too comfortable for being almost 39 weeks! Whenever you're ready lil' guy!
39 WEEKS! Feb. 16 - 22
17th: Baby's heartbeat around 135 and still head down! Mama's weighing in at 164 lbs. (33 lbs. gained) Dr. will check cervix at next appointment on 23rd--on my due date!
40 WEEKS Feb 23rd - due date!
Dr. appointment update:
- About 50% effaced
- No dilation
- heartbeat ~135
- next appointment Monday the 28th @ 9 a.m.
Feb. 25th - just waiting around....
